elf eyelid primer review


A  few weeks back elf was having a bunch of  back to school kits for their fall collection at Target. Browsing through some of the kits I came across this fabulous find. I was actually really excited they had this because I actually own a full size in the nude, a more natural shade from their studio line and its great. It prevents my eyeshadows  from creasing, drys super fast, it really helps my eyeshadow last longer throughout these hot days, and best yet you can get it for only $1 and this collection is only $3 compared to my Urban Decay Primer potion that runs about $20. 



Product Description: Preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow. The ultra sheer nude color works to increase eye color longevity. The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear.

Directions: 

  • Apply a thin coat to the eyelid and blend in.
  • Allow formula to dry before applying eyeshadow.
This set contains: a nude more natural shade that really you could wear alone and it gives your eyes a nice pop, a champagne a little darker taupey nude, and a pearl color this one is more of a sparkly white that does contain a little glitter. You can't see too much of a color difference in the three when blended.  

Overall, I'm very happy with this product and probably one of the best $3 I've purchased from elf. (that and my elf eyebrow kit) lol

  5. Just found your blog, thanks so much for this review. I usually use a MAC paintpot as my primer but these look really good and could probably go under that too. I these are so important because I hate when my eyeshadow fades. hehe
