First EVER Jewelmint piece

I'm sure everyone knows what Jewelmint is. If you don't its similar to shoe dazzle. You register, take a style quiz based on your answers they gather up a selection of jewelry in your "showroom" each month. Its a rather great idea, everything is $29.99 first order you get 20% off and every now and then they will email a special sale. They don't charge you unless you order something that month so you don't have to feel obligated to order anything every month.

This stunning gold Astoria Necklace hasn't been in my showroom but you have an option to "show you more", and  I've been eyeing this piece for quite sometime now, and honestly I'm not even sure why I hadn't purchased it sooner but nothing else really caught my eye. I absolutely love the way it looks. Last week I received an email that they were having a sale and I thought it would be the perfect time to pick this baby up. The second I saw this a few months back every time I went shopping I was looking for a chunky gold chain like necklace, and haven't found one yet. So maybe it was perfect that I didn't find any other one.

Overall this necklace is definitely worth the price. I believe I got it for $9 which is amazing deal. I've been hearing a lot of mixed reviews on Jewelmint and really wasn't expecting this piece to be as nice as it was. The necklace is a little heavier, the chain is a lot nicer then any f21 necklaces although, the gold easily chips, and flakes. I'm sure it isn't going last a life time but if you take care of it it will definitely be worth the money. When I purchased this necklace I thought the length would be adjustable to a pretty decent length, however the chain is quite short. You can wear it almost as a choker, or lengthen it a little longer as I did in the pictures.

longest - shortest length

Now that I'm no longer a Jewelmint Virgin, I will probably be checking out more of their items considering this one really hit the spot. They offer pretty ideal prices for the pieces they sell.

What have you ordered from Jewelmint?
