MAC Equilibrium blush

My first initial thought of the Equilibrium blush *From the mac me over collection* was that it was very similar to a bronzer, so it was probably not needed in my collection. After browsing blog posts, and seeing it swatched and being worn I had to check it out one last time. Swatching this blush on your finger does no justice to this little guy. I had the woman try it on me and I was completely shocked at how well the color looked on my skin. I have seen it a few times on other people yet their skin is a lot more darker. Their was only two of these left being limited edition I couldn't resist.

I've heard from a little birdy that this blush is very similar to the Nars Madly. Although, that is one I can't say that I've picked up yet therefore I can't really say. I did swatch the Nars blush when I was at Sephora and to me that one pulled a little more of a rose color, and of course it being Nars it was heavy on the shimmery side. This blush being a lighter nude color with a touch of peach/pink would be perfect with a dramatic eye, or even a more natural look this blush would pair up very nicely with. The texture of this blush is amazing, and is pretty pigmented.  I'm not sure how well it will apply on very dark skin, as this is a pretty light color.

Overall I'm so excited I picked this up. Its a gorgeous nude shade, and price is pretty reasonable considering their are a hell of a lot more expensive blushes. I'd say its pretty long lasting considering yesterday it was pretty humid and it stayed put all day. More then likely, this will be my go to blush for the fall unless something else sweeps me off my feet in the next few months.
